Russian Attacks on Ukraine Leave Six Injured
Russia carried out overnight airstrikes on northern and southeastern regions of Ukraine, leaving six people injured. Air raid alerts were issued in Kyiv and multiple other cities, and civilians were urged to take shelter. According to Russia recent update, Zaporizhzhia Governor Ivan Fedorov reported that two people were injured in Russian attacks, while three were injured in the northern region of Sumy and a woman was injured in a drone attack in Kharkiv.
These strikes came after Ukraine attacked an electronics plant in Russia's Voronezh region on Monday, killing five and wounding dozens. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had warned last week that Russia was preparing for a large-scale attack.
221 Clashes on the Frontline, Pokrovsk Sector the Most Active
According to Ukraine's General Staff, 221 combat clashes occurred between Ukrainian and Russian forces over the past 24 hours, with the most recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 Russian attacks.
Russia conducted 80 airstrikes, dropped 261 guided bombs, used 9,591 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,957 attacks on Ukrainian positions. Russia recent update also stated that Ukrainian defense forces targeted concentrations of Russian troops at 11 locations.
1,050 Attacks in Zaporizhzhia, Seven Injured
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 1,050 attacks on 56 settlements in Zaporizhzhia, leaving seven people injured. These attacks included 18 airstrikes, 769 drone strikes, 3 rocket attacks, and 260 artillery strikes. Authorities reported 169 damages to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Russia's Fuel Crisis Spreads to Siberia
Ukrainian strikes on Russian energy infrastructure have caused a severe fuel crisis in Russia and its occupied territories. According to Russia recent update, the crisis has spread from Crimea to the Siberian city of Omsk, where gasoline has been limited to 40 liters per vehicle and diesel to between 80 and 200 liters.
Belarus Crisis: Zelensky's Ultimatum
Ukrainian President Zelensky has given Belarus a 7-day ultimatum to remove drone signal repeaters, or Ukraine will take action itself. The Kremlin called this a "fully aggressive threat" and "interference in another country's sovereignty." President Putin will meet with Belarusian President Lukashenko on this issue.
Konstantinivka Crisis: The Key to Donbas
According to a BBC report, Russian troops have entered the strategic city of Konstantinivka in eastern Ukraine and are attempting to encircle it. The entire city has effectively become a "gray zone." If this city falls, Russian forces could advance toward Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.
Russian Media Propaganda: "Our Strikes Are More Powerful"
After the Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow Oil Refinery on June 18, Russian media adopted a coordinated narrative. "Our strikes are causing more damage to Ukraine," wrote Komsomolskaya Pravda. However, Russia is also suffering heavy losses. According to the UK, Russia has suffered 420,000 casualties, and at least 707 children have been killed in Russian attacks in Ukraine since the start of the war.
Conclusion: The Fourth Year of War and a Growing Crisis
This war has now entered its fourth year. Both sides are inflicting severe damage on each other. Russia recent update makes it clear that Russia is suffering heavy human losses and its economy is under severe pressure, while civilian areas in Ukraine are being devastated. The international community must take concrete steps to stop this war, otherwise the destruction will spread further, and millions more will become victims.
