Bangkok Pub Fire Kills 27, Dozens Injured in Tragic Blaze

A Bangkok, Thailand: At least 27 people were killed and 63 others injured after a massive fire broke out at a well-known pub in northern Bangkok late Sunday night, according to local authorities.

Witnesses said smoke was first seen near the stage area before a loud explosion was heard. Within moments, thick black smoke spread rapidly throughout the venue, leaving many people trapped inside as they tried to escape.

Emergency teams and firefighters rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the blaze around midnight. Rescue workers evacuated the injured and transported them to nearby hospitals, where several victims remain in critical condition.

Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control after nearly 30 minutes, but the building suffered extensive damage. Images from the scene showed burned furniture and severe destruction inside the pub.

Officials have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. Preliminary reports suggest that an electrical fault may have triggered the blaze, although authorities say the final cause will be confirmed after a full investigation.
