Terrorist Attacks in Balochistan: Security Forces Respond Effectively, 54 Terrorists Killed, 42 Martyred

Over the past two days, Balochistan has witnessed multiple terrorist attacks, resulting in the martyrdom of 42 people, including security personnel and civilians. Military spokesman Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry told a television news conference on Wednesday that the attacks began on Monday and security forces quickly launched retaliatory operations, killing 54 terrorists.
Among the martyred are 18 police officers, 11 military personnel, and 4 civilians, while the remaining martyrs belong to the Levies Force and other law enforcement agencies. The spokesman made it clear that operations against terrorists will continue and they will be defeated at any cost. He stated that security forces will continue to pursue terrorists wherever they go.
According to sources, these attacks were carried out in various districts of the province, targeting security checkpoints and police stations. The terrorists used firing and hand grenades in their attacks, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several personnel. Security forces immediately launched retaliatory operations and targeted terrorist hideouts. During the operations, 54 terrorists were killed and several others were injured.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari have strongly condemned these attacks and expressed their condolences to the families of the martyrs. They praised the bravery of security forces and stated that the war against terrorism will continue and Pakistan will emerge victorious.
The recent attacks in Balochistan pose a serious challenge to Pakistan's internal security.
