Ukraine's newly appointed military chief, Mykhailo Drapatyi, has announced plans to intensify offensive operations against Russia, including missions behind enemy lines. He said the military will accelerate actions across all domains as Kyiv seeks to pressure Russian forces.


Drapatyi, nominated by President Volodymyr Zelensky as the commander of Ukraine's armed forces, said in a statement posted on Facebook on Wednesday, "Difficult tasks lie ahead, so we will move forward with responsibility for our decisions and respect for those who stand on the front line and help Ukraine endure."
