Body of Young Girl Found Along Drain in Rawalpindi

The body of a young girl has been found along a drain in Gulrez Phase 2, within the jurisdiction of Chaklala Police Station in Rawalpindi.

According to police, the girl appears to be between 8 and 10 years old. The body is believed to be several days old and could not yet be identified.

Local residents gathered at the scene after the body was discovered, while police and rescue personnel also reached the area.

According to the initial assessment by police, the body may have been carried to the location by the drain during rainfall. Authorities suspect that the deceased could be the same girl who went missing during rain in the area of Waris Khan Police Station, although her identity has not yet been confirmed.

Chaklala Police have also informed Waris Khan Police about the discovery. Further investigation is underway to establish the girl’s identity and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
